Today I decided to take the day off. Alise was let out at 12:30 from school and had 2 of her friends come over to play for the afternoon. She's on this "I'm a doggy" kick, crawling around the house and barking really loudly. Lucky for me, her friends decided that this is a pretty fun game to play in our house too. I'm not a huge dog person in general, but I am really not a "let your kid drink out of a bowl on the floor" kind of person either.
I feel like I got a lot accomplished, for a change, today. I rearranged, cleaned and organized Alise's room (which was a HUGE accomplishement in itself, trust me), I finally got our oil tank filled, which was a little painful on the wallet, but I suppose we have to keep warm. I broke down our Halloween "Korey" scarecrow, which was dressed in his work attire, complete with blue wig and cowboy hat.( It was getting a little soggy with all the rain we've had). And I finally took my god-awful, old wedding dress and Katie's and my pettie coat's to the thrift store, it was about time! GEEZ! It freed up SO much closet space it was amazing.
Kennis just left and Alise and Emma are now watching a movie. They spent the afternoon, playing dogs, playing with clay and arguing (mostly Alise being bossy) Kim is coming over later to pick up Emma, make wreaths and we'll all have some sort of dinner that I said I would whip up... I should probably get going on that.
Wow... holy crap, I sound incredibally dull.
