Alise has become deaf to the world with her Ipod, thanks to her loving Poppy. She is the envy of every 8 year-old I know. Her musical favs to sing out loud to in the car and in bed: (I'm not sure she thinks anyone can hear her - but I don't think she cares either) Hannah Montana (Nobody's Perfect), Drake Bell, High School Musical (which she finally saw for the first time on Tuesday!) and some other stuff, which I don't recognize, but I'm sure if you ask any other 8 or 9 year old they would know... I guess I'm just incredibly out of touch!
So the other update is my hip issue, which seems to be consuming my life right now... here is an image of what is going on inside the Temple De Kristi: It looks a lot prettier than it is (or will be). Long story really short - my square peg leg needs to be round and I've really done a number on the hole. (Medically speaking - I have a cam impingement with labral tears) More fun details to come. I just had an arthrogram on Monday and it didn't look too good (although it was pretty cool to watch my bones move!). I will know more on the 12th. Stay tuned...
Other than that... We're still trying to figure out what "literary characters" we're going to be for a friend's halloween party at the end of the month (that is the theme!).... Any ideas? PLEASE HELP! Korey is not big on costume-ing and Alise is pretty set on being a Piratay (yes, that is a female pirate for those of you who were thrown by the phonetic spelling, Alise and her friend have invented this term). So, my dreams of going as Charlotte, Wilber and Fern is probably out of the question.

Get out with your bad ass self! This looks incredible! I love the colors and the pics. Alise and Korey look so good and your hip is surprisingly photogenic. Now I want to redo my whole template -oh and write more than once a month to keep up with you. -A
